Solution pitches and Innovation Marketplace (10 October) - How do they work?
If you would like to showcase your innovative solutions, there are two options you can register for:
1. Solution pitch and poster for the Innovation Marketplace: When registering for the event, you can choose if you would like to give a 2-minute pitch about your innovative solution, and present the solution also at the Innovation Marketplace in more detail (please see below).
2. Poster presentation for the Innovation Marketplace: When registering for the event, you can also choose if you would like to have a spot where to present your innovative solution through a poster at the Marketplace. In that case, we would reserve a cocktail table or similar for your solution so that your poster or roll-up could be displayed next to it.
We would ask you to please be present at this exhibition point during the Innovation Marketplace to explain your solution to interested participants.
For both options, some details about the innovative solution you would like to present will be asked in the registration form.
Spots are limited to 10 pitches and approximately 20 posters. The confirmation for pitches&posters/only posters will be sent in the week of 15 September 2024. In the confirmation email, you will also receive further details about this session and templates.

How it works
A matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners. 10 minutes run fast, but they are enough to build first connections before the meeting ends and the next talk starts.
1) Registration
Register via the Register button on the "Home" page.
2) Plan your attendance
- Find the activities (time slots for the meetings and workshops) on the agenda.
- Select your time slots
3) Publish a marketplace profile to showcase your needs
- Create a strong profile which will raise your visibility to others.
- Your profile should describe who you are, what you offer/search in relation to the City Mission and CL5 Horizon Europe calls under project cooperation) and who you want to meet.
- A good profile will significantly generate more meetings.
4) Book and schedule your meetings
- Browse published participants profiles and send meeting requests to those you want to meet at the event.
- Accept or decline meeting requests received from other participants.
- Schedule your meetings. You can choose a time-slot when accepting a meeting and know immediately when it will take place.
- When scheduling a meeting, you will directly be assigned a table for the 11 October.
- Unanswered (pending) meeting requests will not be scheduled.
5) Start your meetings on 11 October
- After a brief on-site introduction to the matchmaking session, the concrete meetings will start. Each table will have a well visible number and timers will indicate the time you have for each meeting.
- The organisation team will be around for any questions you may have.
Happy matchmaking!
